Administrative Review of a Draft of a Technical Regulation

After public discussion, drafts of technical regulations are subjected to administrative review. This administrative review is conducted by an expert commission on technical regulation that includes representatives of federal agencies, the scientific community, trade associations, and consumer advocacy groups. The expert commissions review differences of opinion arising from public discussion of the draft of a technical regulation, and verify that the text conforms to the provisions of international standards. The meetings of the expert commissions are open to the public. The findings of the expert commissions are published in an official publication of the federal executive agency having jurisdiction over technical regulation.
